A walk down memory lane

My favorite Buzz Feed articles are those listing different toys kids played with in the 90s. I was inspired to make a personal one.

Christin, Craig and Lauren remember when...

1. This was our favorite toothpaste.

2. Mom put these Mr. Yuk stickers on the cleaners underneath the kitchen sink.

3. This was the ultimate doll house. The elevator made the loudest, screechiest sound when in operation.

4. The blue minivan. It was the first of a succession of minivans, which fortunately ended just over a year ago.

5. These were our dinner cups – apparently we didn't eat or drink a lot as kids. I especially liked the ones with jokes.

6. Grandmother had this air filter in her house. She actually had two that were underneath end tables. I'm probably the only one who remembers them. For some reason, they fascinated me.

7. We'd get bored at Grandmother's, so we'd raid the stencil drawer. I never found them particularly exciting.

8. The triplets were all wearing rubber bands at the same time. You couldn't lie on the couch without first brushing off a few of these bad boys. Kinda gross when you think about it.

9. These were the creme-dela-creme of the ice cream truck's menu.

10. We always seemed to be hatching prehistoric sea monsters or "sea monkeys" in the computer room.

11. We also made edible gummy bugs.

12. Craig and I were metalsmiths back in the day.

13. We drank our body weight in yogurt.

14. The shelf of creepy apple head dolls was among our favorite things about Nana's house.

15. These were super cool.

16. And so were these. We had so many shox.

17. We actually had to use one of these or the school directory to invite a friend over. Calling a new friend and saying, "Hi Mr. or Mrs so-and-so, is _____ available?" was like the scariest thing ever.

18. So many memories at the 3803. Especially loved sledding down that driveway into the street when it snowed. Good times, good times.
