My Official 2014 Grown-Up Christmas List

Exams are finished, and it's time to craft my annual Christmas list. The first items items are borrowed from Amy Grant's

1. No more lives torn apart
2. That wars would never start
3. And time would heal all hearts
4. And everyone would have a friend
5. And right would always win
6. And love would never end

These supplications are perhaps more suitable for God than Santa, as they (especially number 6) describe the ultimate consequences of Christ's birth. In the midst of consumer-driven mania, it's nice to take a moment to reflect on what's really important. (Best accomplished through song. See youtube link above.) After this heart-warming "true meaning of Christmas moment," if you still find yourself trekking to the mall, money or the following items would make me quite happy:

7. Sweaters (size medium)
8. 24-pack of Perrier water, non-flavored
9. Socks/undies
10. Voice recorder
11. iPad
12. Artisan chocolate
13. George Bush's new book
14. Subscription to Netflix
15. Any magazine subscription
16. Skeleton watch
17. Digital athletic watch
18. Lacoste Essential cologne
19. 2004 Dom Perignon Champagne
20. Hot stone massage

Merry Christmas to all!
