A Royal Spring Break: Day 2

The The The Last night was an awesome night out. After going to the grocery store to get a few party supplies--lol no need to find an ABC store, you can get hard liquor there--we went to a house party in the lively and swanky SoHo district of London.

We were out late and couldn't catch a bus, so we ended up walking, which was a pretty solid hike. Good thing Matthias was there to lead. London streets are so confusing.

Matthias was feeling a bit under the weather this morning (we'll blame it on the shape wear--won't we Davis), so I ventured out in London my own, not using google maps and also not getting hit by cars coming from the left.

When I got back from my little solo adventure, Matthias had experienced a miraculous recovery. We decided to rent Barclay Bikes, and ride them to Regent's Park. It was a great day for biking. The weather was sunny and about 60 degrees, really a quintessential spring day. I also saw daffodils blooming for the first time this year, really putting spring in the air.

We then came back to the flat, rested for a bit and embarked on another athletic adventure. We went rock climbing at a gym, formerly a castle. It was definitely the coolest climbing gym I've ever seen. It was enormous, with several levels of climbing walls, and turrets with winding staircases between the levels.

(Matthias being epic)

Went out tonight again, and will write about it tomorrow.

Cheers!
